Pissouri has two centres: the old village on the hill, with its square, church and tavernas, and the bay below, with the beach, beach restaurants and a stretch of low-rise development. The slope between them is where the views are.
The bay faces south-west into a natural amphitheatre, which keeps it noticeably more sheltered than the open coast.

The village has a supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, medical practice, primary school and a genuine mix of Cypriot and international residents — one of the longest-established mixed communities on the island. Larger shopping, hospitals and international schools are in Limassol or Paphos, both half an hour away.
Climate and orientation
The hillside catches an afternoon sea breeze that makes August evenings usable outdoors. South-west orientation gives long evening light and sunsets over the headland, and the slope drains well, which matters during the short intense winter rains.
Who it suits
Buyers who want space, view and quiet, and who accept a thirty-minute drive for city amenities. It suits second homes, retirement, and remote work with strong fibre coverage, less so daily commuting to central Limassol.
